What is success?

What success means is actually never quitting what you need to and the important thing is achieving the success. Success is very hard to achieve but there are many many people who I’ve seen on televisions and at stonefields school that had made big successes, and I believe that those people are all around us!

Different types of success

Success can be splitted into many different types. Many people have achieved success, but they didn’t jump way across the steps to go to success. To achieve success you must go step by step because if you just jump way across, then you will definitely get things wrong. Nelson Mandela was one of the greatest people who had achieved a big success before he had passed away. Nelson Mandela went step by step to achieve success. He had made a big change to South Africa. Nelson Mandela got to make a big change to South Africa because he had money. Money made power for Nelson Mandela. Later when Nelson Mandela achieved his success, he had happiness but not even himself, but all the South Africa people who was waiting for that day.

Getting things done

Getting things done is all about success too. When you're finishing off something and you think that you can’t do it and you give up, that is not what you call success. When you’re finishing off something and you have spended a lot of time on it and one day you finish off the project, that is what you call success. When I see around school, I see builders all ways collaborating with each other when they’re working. If the builders never thought about success, then they would have never been successful.

You might think that success happens when you complete a task but its not always when you finish a task, Success can happen during when your trying to complete a task because every paragraphs, sentences and words that you think of to write a successful story needs some successful words too.

Collaborating with each other

Collaborating with each other sounds like just helping each other, but it has a little meaning of success in the word collaborating. If you see on television, you will find sport players collaborating with all their teammates but its not always the sport players that collaborates, its all the people who makes it to success. Collaborating is not just helping yourself, but it actually helps others too. So collaborating and success combined together, can actually make many differences.

Using the stonefields school learner qualities

Using the stonefields school learner qualities is important because, the learner qualities takes you to the path that makes you achieve success. When I first came to stonefields school, I never knew a single word from the stonefields school learner quality chart, but later on, I learned every single word and the best thing was, I learned that stonefields school learner qualities can help you when you're trying to achieve to make success.

Example of Bill Gates

Bill Gates had been successful because he had tried very hard for years and years to be successful in his life. Usually, when Bill gates earns money, Bill gates donates the money with other people who needs money for their family. When the families gets the money, they use the money on computers or to buy windows programs for their computers. Amazingly the money goes back to bill gates then later bill gates donates that money again. So there is a big cycle of money that keeps going around, but Bill gates is successful by earning money and donating.

Why are people successful?

Success happens when that person wants to be successful or by another reason that connects to success. People are successful because they want to be successful. People use strategies to be successful. Strategies can help you to go to success because the strategies are the shortcuts. People want to be successful because they want to earn money. Every human being would do anything  to earn money, but first they need success. So there are many reasons why people wants to be success and earn money.

What is success?

Success is when you make your idea becomes reality. That is how people became famous. They dreamed of being famous and if they make it true it means they were successful. But it’s not only rich and famous. There are lots more ways you can be successful.You can be good at dancing,singing,you can play an instrument,anything!

How can we be successful?

Firstly we can be successful by working really hard. Some people think that success is money, rich and famous. Well people are different so you might have a different idea of success with your friend’s idea.

When you are a teenager success is a good school/college,a new phone, a good job and lots of friends. Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela worked really really hard to achieve what he wanted to change in South Africa. He was born on 18 July 1918 and died on 5 December 2013. He was successful to sent the black people free,because he wanted to do it. Nelson was determined to help his country and to make it better for people to live in. He also helped the black people have rights of their on.

Why should we be successful?

Secondly we should all be successful at something. We should be successful,because you feel good after that. Also to make the world a better place. We should be successful at a job we like to do so we will enjoy and do work at the same time. We should be successful to make your soul bigger and feel good.

You can be successful if you want to

Finally, you can be successful only if you want to. You can make your dream come true!

What is success?

Do you know what success is, who is successful, why and how they became successful?

There are many different types of success. Success is when you accomplish something and also do a good job.To be successful, you need to love what you are doing and pursue your own dreams. You also need to be happy with what you do to be successful.

Types of success 
There are many different types.One type is to be rich and famous just like Lorde , she was a really famous and rich singer. Another type is to gain a lot of luxury and status just like John Key, he is the prime minister of New Zealand and gained a lot of luxury. The third type is to create a better world for people and the future generations just like Steve Jobs, he founded Apple and created a better world for people.

Who is successful?

Steve Jobs died on the 5th of October 2011. Steve Jobs was successful. He created a better world for people and is rich and famous. He was the one of the founders for Apple. Apple was developed in 1977. He persevered to make a very useful product for everyone to use. Apple is a very famous product used by a lot of people in the world. Steve Jobs invented iPads, iPhones and a lot of other electronic devices. Nowadays, everyone carries an Apple product everywhere they go. It is the latest trend.  

How do you become successful?

You can become successful when you persevere to make things work. You have to choose what type of success you want and work towards it. Even if you are young, you can still work towards your goal. It can be what you want to do in future too. I want to be a doctor in future and I am learning some medical things from my sister as she is studying medicine. A lot of people become successful only after they have done a lot and have been determined to make it work.That is how people are successful.   

Finally, You are successful when you know who you are, choose who you are and be who you are. Most importantly, you have to work hard, love what you are doing and be happy to pursue your dreams. There are so many different types of success, go be successful in a way you want to be!

What is camp

Have you ever wondered what is camp? Well camp is going to sleep in a tent in the forest or in a camp spot.At camp you have to cook your food.You aways have to bring a cooker or a bbq other wice how are you going to cook your food?It’s fun sleeping in a tent with your friends(or family).Sometimes you are worried and that’s OK,but there is nothing to worry about.

Success

On 5th of March, LH9 from Stonefields School went camping at Wenderholm campground.It was about success.We were learning how to be successful out of school grouds. Some of us were successful for being away from their parents, but for others success was learning how to cook.

I felt successful when we had leftover food, because my group was not that good at organizing food.

Cooking

Do you know how to cook?If yes, then you are ready to go to camp, because at camp you have to cook your own food. It’s really fun. But if you don’t know how to cook than you need a little bit of practise at home. You can ask a parent to help you if you are not sure what to do or search it on internet.

Collaborating

At camp you need to collaborate with all the people, because if you are in a tent with people you can’t collaborate well with then you are bad luck. I know how you feel, because i had that situation. You just have to go with it. Sometimes you are going to collaborate with them wich is really good, because you are making a new friend. Then when you get back from camp you can hang out with them.

Fun

If you go to camp , but you are not having fun, then what are you doing?

It’s all about having fun. If you go to camp what are you going to do to make it fun? You can go swimming(if there is a sea or a swimming pool), tramping, you can go exploring and lots more to make your camp fun.

You are going to have lots and lots of fun if you are with friends.

Why people like camping

People like camping, because it’s a holiday with your friends or family and nature. It feels good and you want to do it again. That’s why people go to camp. To have a rest, have fun and enjoy it.

12/3/14                                              Why did we go to camp?

We all love camping and always go camping but have you ever wondered why did we go to camp? What Camp is? How long it is and where we went.

Camp is when we go away from home for a few days and stay in tents. You have to cook your own food and do everything yourself. No more parents helping you clear up your mess at home, now you have to clear it up yourself. I went camping for 3 days (2 nights) with my school classmates.Camping with your parents will be fun too. We went to the Wenderholm Camp ground. It was a big patch of grass, which was ideal for us to all set up our tents there.There must be a reason why we went to camp. We went to camp to learn Collaboration, Cooking, Tent Pitching and also to have Fun. You will also feel very successful after the camp as well.

Collaboration

We go to camp to build on our collaboration skills.

Collaboration is when we work together well as a team. When we play games and do activities, we will have to team up and collaborate together to win or to be successful. When I went to camp, I improved on my collaboration skills. It really helped me alot with further studying and activities at school.

Cooking

Cooking is a very important skill in life. At Camp,everyone has to cook their own meals. If you don’t know how to cook, its okay,you can learn. I went to camp and learnt how to cook. We prepared our own ingredients and then cooked our own breakfast and dinner. We all have to learn how to cook and it is a great cooking experience for anyone who goes to camp not knowing how to cook.

Tent Pitching

Tent pitching is really important. When we go camping we need to have a place to stay, so we need to pitch tents to stay in. Although it is not as comfortable as your home, but that is the only thing you have. When I went to camp with my classmates, We were put into groups of 5, so we can put up our tents in groups. I have actually not been to camp before until now and I have not put up a tent before. I was a bit worried but when I went, the people in my group helped me a lot and taught me how to pitch a tent properly.

Having Fun

Whenever we go camping, we always will have fun. Especially when you go in a big group, you will have even more fun. I went in a big group with all the students in Hub 9. It was really fun. I never knew that I would have that much fun. The activities were great and exciting.

We did a lot of activities such as, tramping, banana surgery and we even played Frisbee golf. All those activities were so fun.

Camping is a very great experience in life and is the only time you get to do things like that.

It is really fun and you will learn a lot of new skills that will help you in the future.

After camping, you will also feel successful, just like I did.

I will never forget that memorable time I had at camp and I am sure you won’t too.
